As part of a collaboration between Goldman Global Arts and the NFL to celebrate one-hundred seasons of football through artistic expression, LA-based Tristan Eaton—known worldwide for his breathtaking street art murals— created official artwork for the tickets for Super Bowl LIV which kicks off this Sunday in Miami. Done in his signature fragmented collage aesthetic, Eaton’s piece blends enduring images from the NFL’s history including legends of the game, fantastic fandom, Miami and its Dolphins team, and of course the brilliant celebration of championship excellence that is the Super Bowl. The image also graces two versions of the Super Bowl LIV official program.
Beyond the tickets and the program, Tristan Eaton and Goldman Global Arts are releasing the NFL’s first official fine art print featuring Eaton’s Super Bowl LIV artwork. The 18″ x 24″ signed and numbered giclee print ($250) is available now as a timed-edition direct from Tristan Eaton’s online store through Monday, February, 3rd at 12 PM PST.
From 2D to 3D, Tristan Eaton also hand-painted a 9-foot fiberglass sculpture of the Lombardi Trophy which will greet Super Bowl LIV attendees as they enter Hard Rock Stadium. The GGA x NFL project also features celebratory artwork from Dasic Fernandez, Kelly Graval (‘RISK’), Joe Iurato and Kelsey Montague.
