At some point, Dalek’s signature character receded into the abstract, color bar backgrounds. However, the big-earred, wide, toothy-grinned Spacemonkey is back and just as fun as ever. Without much fanfare, as usual, Dalek has just dropped the new Spacemonkey ‘Flying High’ Screenprint (18×24″, Edition of 60, 10-color screenprint, $65) from his web shop. Printed by Cincinatti’s DIY Printing, the new editon features a dynamic, fluid vibe.
Speaking of a resurgence, Space Monkey is set to return to collector’s shelf with not one, but two vinyl art toys, one from 3DRetro and one from UVD Toys.
