Reina Koyano  unveiled her 5-foot OW-Girl sculpture as part of Jordan Brand’s launch event (1.25.20) for the Flight Utility Apparel collection and the AJ1 Mid ‘Flashing Lights’ at H. Lorenzo on Sunset. Based on her recently released, sold-out OW-Girl vinyl art toys from 3DRetro, the 3D-printed, fiberglass sculpture elevates her design from collectible to showcase art piece—a first for Koyano’s Sole Fatale brand. The one-off piece was created with the 3D printing expertise of Cokreeate. In addition to the sculpture, Koyano also created the In This Family, No One Flies Alone illustration featuring her vision of the Flight Utility Apparel collection and the AJ1 Mid ‘Flashing Lights’ sneaker.

Koyano’s OW-Girl imagery is inspired by the Off White Retro AJ1s, the sneaker of 2017. The illustration and the figure it inspired are representative of her Sole Fatale body of work which celebrates beautiful women wearing outfits featuring deconstructed, reimagined takes on coveted sneakers.
