Jorge R. Gutierrez, director of the popular The Book of Life animated film, has collaborated with 3DRetro bring his Muerto Mouse character to life as a brand-new art toy. The figure is Gutierrez’s take on the world’s most famous mouse with imagery inspired, in part, by Mexican culture. It’s an excellent example of pop culture as a living entity, forever changing in response to the audience and its surrounding environment.
3DRetro will host Jorge R. Gutierrez for a Muerto Mouse release/signing event on Saturday, March 14th 2020 (4 – 8PM) at their Glendale location. The 3DRetro Exclusive Muerto Mouse ($80), original artwork and prints will be available at the event. The first 50 purchasers will receive a special edition print.
