Taiwanese graffiti artist MAR2INA has announced and revealed her upcoming Mon-2 rabbit vinyl art toy. Born on 2.22, the artist’s alter-ego takes on the form of the rabbit in part because the chinese world for rabbit (兔子) sounds like ‘two’. While one often thinks of rabbits as cute and cuddly, this one is all about the mission ahead.
The OG version features a tan design with orange/purple hair and a sporty black outfit. While almost all rabbit-inspired toys feature bunny ears, few carry the inspiration through with bunny paws, as seen here. To cut down on the need for intros, carries her own personalized spray cans. No release date yet, but sounds like it’s right around the corner. Urban vinyl is alive and well.
