With WonderFestival Winter in Japan (2.9) just a few days away, news of tantalizing toys is flowing freely. For giant robot fans, Kaijin x One up will release a new red/blue colorway of their Mazinger Z sofubi art toy. They will also have Mazinger Z in the classic blue/silver/black and a red/blue Grendizer edition—both apparently released previously. These figures are officially-licensed versions of Go Nagai’s iconic robots, perhaps via limited-time, one-day style licenses that are often in place for WonderFestival and other events.
The Kaijin x One up Mazinger-Z and Grendizer sofubi toys will be available from table 7-04-09 at WonderFestival Winter 2020 held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan (Tokyo).
