Soft Steel Toys’ Hellbot returns with a fiery new edition. Flowing with the flames that it was forged in, Hellbot – Hotsteel features a shiny, metallic body with translucent orange-red flames and fist. The concept is carried nicely with orange red-gradient paint on the arms and legs. Yes, this edition’s design immediately reminds us of a certain comic book character, and that’s half the fun. The other half is execution that is on point.
The striking new edition will be available on Wednesday (2.12) at 9 PM PST from Soft Steel’s online store. Pricing has not been announced. Originally slated for release at the recent Wonder Festival Winter 2020 in Japan, the release was switched to an online drop out of concern over the novel corona virus.
