UK graffiti legend D*Face’s cartoon style take on apparel brand XLARGE’s fierce gorilla mascot was released as a VCD art toy Fall 2019 in gray and black editions. The powerful, bulky 7″figure features D*Face’s signature wings sprouting from its head and a large golden ‘XL’ chain necklace. For 2020, XLARGE is following up the first two releases with a brand-new Red edition.
The XLARGE x D*Face VCD Red Edition is set for release on Saturday, February 8th 2020 from Japanese retail channels including Zozotown. No word on pricing, however for comparison’s sake, the Black edition retailed for ¥13,000 ($118).
