Fresh off their recent Theatre mini series released towards the end of last year, Korea-based Circusboyband and is headed to the cosmos with their upcoming Space Travel Series blind-boxed art toys (3″) from Xinghui Creations. The new series features nine regular figures, an alternate color variation, a secret and a super secret. Across the twelve total figures, there are seven sculpts, some based on prior CBB figures including the Space Boy.
As with their other releases, this new series features Circusboyband’s subtle, yet unique mix of retro characters with a quirky and compelling presence. While one might be tempted to think cosplay, perhaps the characters represent dreams or imagined possibilities. The Space Travel Series is expected to arrive in April 2020. In the meantime, the CBB Theatre series is available now for pre-order from myplasticheart.
