Kidrobot has just announced and post the first, very intriguing, teaser of its upcoming Exquisite Corpse Dunny Series, curated by Red Mutuca Studios and CoART Magazine’s Nick Curtis. The talented artist lineup includes Quiccs, Mr. Mitote, Grimsheep, Igor Ventura, Map-Map, Chauskoskis, Gorgocho, RUNDMB, Sergio Mancini, Luiz Unreal and Matucha & Cornelio. From the teaser image and the official copy it’s clear that the new series features a modular, mix-and-match body with apparently five parts (Head, arms x 2, torso and legs). This fun concept reminds us of Andrew Bell’s modular Android redesign.
Of course, beyond the new body, the key to making this concept really come together are the artist’s designs and how well they mesh together. Look for regular design previews from Kidrobot shortly. The Exquisite Corpse Dunny Series is set for release on Friday, February 7th 2020.
