For those that couldn’t attend Super Festival 83 last weekend in Japan, Grape Brain has set up an online release of three of his convention releases: Lucky Nigiri + Kamabo, Kinigi Ringer and Kinigi Ringer Black. All three feature versions of his popular Hell’s Cat Onigiri sofubi art toy.
The Lucky Nigiri + Kamabo (Sucker Fish) features a Lucky Cat-inspired colorway of the Hell’s Cat Onigiri plus a golden edition of what we believe is a new figure, Kamabo. While ominous sounding, the sucker fish sofubi features a cute sculpt. Perhaps this will become Grape Brain’s Omake (extra gift) for future releases. Kinigi Ringer and Kinigi Ringer Black are orange and black colorways of Grape the Hell’s Cat Onigiri.
All three of Grape Bain’s new sofubi art toys will be available on Saturday (1.18) at 5 AM PST from his online store.
