LA-based artist Tristan Eaton recently collaborated with Heavy Metal magazine on a 3D cover illustration for the renowned publication’s recent Street Art Issue (#296). To celebrate the release of the issue, Eaton has created a large-format giclee print of the magazine cover, in old-school RGB 3D, of course. Limited to 100 signed and numbered pieces, the Heavy Metal 3D Giclee Prints—measuring 36 x 52″ with Anaglyphic 3D effect on Moab Entrada 290gsm Cotton Rag paper—will be released on Monday (1.20) at 12 PM PST for $750 each from the artist’s online store. The prints include Tristan Eaton-branded 3D glasses and a signed copy of the Heavy Metal magazine. The Heavy Metal project is the latest in Eaton’s recent series of 3D-based projects.
