Danger of Death is the next Pokemon-inspired art toy from Laurence Vallières and Thunder Mates. Featuring a bright-yellow, bandaged version of the most famous pocket monster of them all, the piece is a commentary on the phenomenon of people dropping everything to relentlessly catch pocket monsters on one of the biggest hit mobile games in recent memory. This new edition follows the artist’s previous Gotta Catch All Your Data, which featured a beige version of the bandaged character.
Limited to 300 pieces, the Danger of Death polyresin art toy (8.27″) will be available on Tuesday (1.21) at 8 AM PDT from the Thunder Mates online store for $185. The figure will include a Certificate of Authenticity and is slated to ship towards the end of March 2020.
