After an initial production delay last Fall, Paris-based Galerie Bomma has officially announced the release of their BBoy Jiri porcelain sculpture (17 cm) from Japanese artist Taku Obata. Featuring a dynamic, crouching pose, BBoy Jiri is the latest expression of the artist’s signature BBoy characters, often realized as larger-than-life wooden sculptures. The high-end porcelain edition fills out the artist’s growing portfolio of Bboy art objects and collectibles including the Sofb Boy vinyl art toys and the B-Girl polystone sculptures.
