Based on an original painting, Yoskay Yamamoto’s Moonflower soft vinyl art toy from Munky King has a deceptively simple, remarkably organic aesthetic. The effortless way the petals spread and unfold around the spherical moon at the center breathes life into the surreally natural piece. While not evident from the pictures, the moon is a separate, removable piece with a detailed lunar texture throughout. The artistry flows all the way to the base of the flower which features Yoskay’s sun logo and the classic MK logo.
First released in a small, advance quantity at DesignerCon in late November, Moonflower is now available for pre-order directly from Munky King for $100 and includes a lovely screen-printed cloth bag.
