Lava. The touchstone edition that all JLed collectors seek. Joe Ledbetter will release the Wolfgang Lava edition resin art toy at DesignerCon. The always unpredictable lava flows through Wolfgang in a deep neon green set against the black figure. The vivid green really accentuates the bugged-out eyes and the drooling tongue, calling cards of the Tex Avery style ‘toons that inspired the figure. The Lava Edition also highlights Dave Bondi’s strong sculpting work in bringing Ledbetter’s vision to life. In addition to the Lava Edition, Joe Ledbetter will also be offering his personal exclusive Gray Edition in limited quantities as well as the debut of the new Wolfgang pins.
Limited to 50 pieces, the Wolfgang Lava resin art toy will be available from Joe Lebetter’s DesignerCon booth [#2413] for $220 each.
