As a founding host and artistic vision behind ComplexCon,  renowned Japanese artist Takashi Murakami returns once again to ComplexCon in Long Beach this weekend (11.2 – 11.3) with numerous  high-profile collaborations. Let’s start with his new collection from Cherry Fukuoka  [Booth E20] featuring several new plush toys including what appear to be oversized versions of Kaikai and Kiki as well as hand-puppets of the characters. The collection also includes tees, hoodies and more.

Going big, Murakami has also collaborated with Toho to celebrate Godzilla’s 65th anniversary.  In addition to a towering 10″ original painting to be debuted at the Godzilla booth [E23], Murakami has created a new Godzilla collection featuring apparel and other lifestyle items.

Showcasing his collaborative skills, Mr. Murakami has added his colorful vision to the iconic Lakers NBA team with a range of new product from Mitchell and Ness.  Take a direct line to the official ComplexCon Gift Shop [F13] presented by Zen for the Murakami x Lakers Collection.

The ComplexCon Gift Shop is also the spot for the new Murakami upholstered fiberglass chairs.
