Coarse returned to Rotofugi for their nearly-annual exhibition on Saturday evening. This year’s show, Possession, features several new Coarse Originals including the sublime Paw Departure featuring Coarse’s classic character leaping out of a golden pool. Thanks to Jason Encryption, who graciously agreed to shoot the show for Vinyl Pulse, here’s a closeup look at all the show pieces.
In addition to the extremely low-run, hand-done Originals, Coarse also released two vinyl editions. The first of which is the brand-new The Collector, celebrating those that continually accumulate must-have possessions. This Edition Zero is exclusive to the show and will only be available for pre-order in-person at the Rotofugi Gallery through the exhibition’s run which ends on December 1. We’re assuming/hoping that future editions will be offered in wider release. Coarse is also offering Meltdown Ignited at the exhibition for the very first time. This GID version is the third Meltdown edition.
