You might have seen Danil YAD’s stylish 3D renderings of leading creatives in art and fashion, part of his Authors project. After drawing quite a bit of interest, the artist’s work is going from the screen to the shelf with the news of his first art toy in the works from Mighty Jaxx. The Shoe Designer (9″) celebrates the renowned visionary behind the Air Jordan shoes that transformed basketball footwear into must-have fashion.
Designed with versatility in mind, the vinyl figure features numerous removable parts including the hat, glasses, shoe box, and two pairs of shoes that can be swapped out via a peg system. The Shoe Designer will be available for pre-order on Saturday (11.9) at 5 AM PST for a 24-hour window from Mighty Jaxx’s online store for $179 (includes worldwide shipping.
