As part of Coarse’s Possession exhibition which opened on Saturday evening at their gallery space, Rotofugi is offering an exclusive deluxe set of the brand-new The Collector – Edition Zero vinyl art toy. The 16″ vinyl version features a Void travelling on his masked Alapcumulus with his tethered, cloud floating behind. The Collector is the third release in Coarse’s boundary-breaking Ethos series and follows Cells and Strangers. As Rotofugi mentioned in their announcement, the sculpture celebrates collectors, those that continue to seek out objects for the pure pleasure of doing so, for the need to do so.
The deluxe set ($495) includes the toy and a screen print packaged in a numbered wooden box with the edition size set by the number of orders placed. It is only available via pre-order, in-person at Rotofugi through the show’s conclusion on December 1st and will not be offered online.
