Coarse will return to Chicago for the opening of their Possession exhibition at Rotofugi on Saturday (11.9) featuring new works from Mark Landwehr and Sven Waschk. The two artists will showcase several new extremely-limited sculptures as well as offer two new vinyl editions. With no online previews prior to the opening, the show is shrouded in secrecy. While no images are available, Rotofugi has mentioned that the vinyl editions will include a ‘special edition collector’s set’ of a brand-new piece ($395) that will only be available for pre-order in person during the exhibition (11.9 – 12.1) as well as another mystery release ($495).
Coarse’s art multiple sculptures (‘Coarse Originals’) have continually impressed with their artistic expression and nearly flawless quality over the years. We’re very excited to see what they will unveil on Saturday.
