2petalrose has been hard at work on his new We Are One Army Kid Katana hand-made resin figures for DesignerCon (11.22 – 11.24). The new pieces feature a military-style Kid Katana sculpt with a prominent gas mask. The DCon releases will include a Blue Edition (5 pieces) with a police SWAT-style appearance. 2petalrose continues his tradition of fully-realize figures by including a removable helmet with a camo-like pattern at the center, katana, kunais, grenade, water bottle, metal dog tags, and sashimono.
In addition to the Blue Edition, there are also six one-off versions of the new figure including four with camo outfits. Several of the one-offs appear to have different color gas mask lenses as well. For those counting, that’s a total of 11 of the new Kid Katana toys (edition of 5 + 6 one-offs). The figures are 7″ tall, nearly 8″ at the tip of the helmet. These will be available at Woot Bear’s DesignerCon booth [#302], with sales starting on Saturday (11.23) at 10 AM. 2petalrose will be at the show, come meet the man behind the figures.
