Parra continues his ongoing collaboration with Case Studyo—purveyors of innovative art objects—with the something wonderfully unexpected. So far, the pairing has created highly coveted collectibles for our desks and shelves, and now we can add living room to the list with the Tomato Chair. Based on the artist’s frequently seen tomato character, this functional fiberglass sculpture measures approximately 4′ x 4′ x 3′. The whimsical piece dares (demands?) you to sit, enjoy and become part of the story. The Tomato Chair is on display by the Joshua Liner gallery at the Volta Basel art fair through June 15th, 2019.
