Blackbook Toy is celebrating the New Year with a special collection of one-off ‘Fortune’ editions designed to bring luck and prosperity. Marvel Okinawa has created a special red + gold Mousezilla (45,000 yen / ~$418) featuring Mt. Fuji and a Japanese Crane – beautiful piece. He’s also found time to create a pair of Daruma Dim pieces (28,000 yen/~$260) – one in gold and one in red. These are creatively done with the character’s suspenders standing in for the vertical lines on the traditional doll.
Finally, BBT’s Melo Wang has created 15 Mini Mousezillas which combine Daruma with the Year of the Boar theme. BBT has gifted nine of these special toys to artists and friends and is offering six for purchase.
