Newly Formed Pop Life Global Expands with Film and Collectibles

With an exciting new joint venture, Pop Life—known for its art toy collectibles—will greatly expand its reach, scope and focus to become a multi-faceted entrainment company.  Pop Life has joined forces with Shanghai-based Cenic Media  to create Pop Life Global.  Founded in 2014, Cenic Media has released several films including The Legends Of Monkey King, Mr. Bodyguard, The Visioner, and My Fox Immortal Wife. The new company will build on both firm’s entertainment projects  under the guidance of their executive team with extensive experience leading premiere entertainment brands.

In speaking about Pop Life Global,  Co-Chief Creative Officer MD Young  stated that “We are tremendously excited to continue our expansion with our joint venture partners led by Hanson He, founder and CEO of Cenic Media, Stanley Cheung, the former chairman of the Walt Disney Company China, and Guenther Hake, the former CEO of Oriental DreamWorks China. Together, our first-line of business will be to increase our presence in Greater China and strengthen the commercialization of our original IP’s and horror film projects for international audiences.”

With expertise in film, events production, as well as creating collectibles from top artists including Ron English, Futura, and Mark Paul Deren, the new firm represents a broad entertainment strategy as echoed by Cenic Media founder Hanson He’s statement that  “Pop life Global is a great fit for our expansion strategy to become a more holistic global entertainment company.”

We’re looking forward to what’s next from Pop Life Global.  On the movie side, the firm has two films currently in post production:  Painted Beauty, starring Claire Holt (47 Meters Down), and the eSports adventure  Underdogs Rising.  On the art toy side, we can’t wait to see what Pop Life Global has planned for it’s massive SFBI Originals booth [60’ x 80’] at DesignerCon.
