Tomenosuke and Kikkake Toy have a created a new companion just for you. The Exclusive A.I. Tomeko is a special version of Kikkake’s blow-up doll-style sofubi figure. The clever name is both a reference to the ubiquitous acronym for artificial intelligence and a sly take on the original, resolving instead to Adult Intelligence, a subtle reference to the figure’s inspiration. A.I. Tomeko is cast in translucent pink sofubi with multiple spray deco. The ‘Gero’ on her belly references Tomenosokue’s location in Gero Onsen, a hot springs resort. The translucent vinyl really adds to the impressive illusion of an inflatable toy rather than one cast in sofubi. Limited to just 22 pieces, A.I. Tomeko (~ 8.7”) with matching ‘pillow’ header will be released on Thursday April 12th at 7 PM PDT from Tomenosuke’s web shop for 21,600 yen (~ $202) plus shipping/handling.
