Adult Swim fans and toy collectors came out in force last Friday (4.28) for the official Adult Swim x Kidrobot toy release at 3Dretro featuring the new Adult Swim minis and the Rick and Morty medium figure. The lineup started at 10 AM in the morning—well in advance of the 6 PM start time—in order to purchase the new Rick and Morty toy as well as ensuring they would be signed by the creatives behind Rick and Morty—Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon—and Robot Chicken—Matt Senreich and Seth Green.
One of the largest crowds in memory for a release event at the store enjoyed live art by Juan Muniz, the recently completed Rick and Morty mural by Matt Gondek, and a trio of food trucks. Definitely a good time with toys, art, food, and a warm spring evening—call it early Summer.
