Ron English’s East Meets West tour has brought collectors in Asia up close and personal with the ‘Godfather of Street Art’ in an unprecedented way. Collectors and fans stateside have followed along from afar as the exhibit made stops in Seoul, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Manila, Shanghai and Jakarta. Photos of the event’s highlights—the billboard exploits retrospective, the wild Cereal Killers blacklight experience and towering statues—have made us wish we could there to enjoy the event first-hand. If you’ve been wondering when you might be able to get your hands on the East Meet West collectibles, the answer is this weekend if you’re in or around Los Angeles. The Popaganda Pop-Up Shop on Saturday and Sunday (5.20 – 5.21) from Noon to 3 PM at RCNSTRCT Studio in Hollywood brings the travelling exhibit’s product experience stateside for the very first time.
The Pop-Up will feature the full East Meets West product line including Mc Supersized figures, the Black Light Magic series toys, the first USA release of the Cereal Killers mini figures and a comprehensive lifestyle selection including caps, tees, tote bags, home decor and more. The Pop-Up will also offer to-be-announced RCNSTRCT STUDIO exclusive releases.
This is the first of several artist and brand collaboration events that will run through June at the brand new Melrose Avenue lifestyle destination founded by Miguel Garcia Larios, the creative force behind US Alteration and De La Barracuda.
