After two consecutive weeks of clever yet sparse video teasers, Kidrobot has fully revealed the upcoming Imperial Lotus Dragon 8” Dunny ($99) from Scott Tolleson. As you can see the figure features a completely new head with a considerable amount of sculpted-in details including dragon scales, eyebrows, eyes, nose, and mouth. The Lotus Dragon also features mystical blue translucent wings and ?flames? around the ears. This new larger edition offers a new take on the very popular 3” Dunny Evolved piece with a more ‘animated’ expression. No word on the drop date, but given the press build-up, we’re guessing very soon.
Kidrobot will release the Imperial Lotus Dragon Dunny on Friday, October 2nd 2015 from Kidrobot.com (8 AM PDT) and retailers worldwide. Scott will be at the official signing and release on Friday evening (7-9 PM CDT) at Rotofugi in Chicago.
