Taiwanese artist Bounce and VTSS follow-up 2013’s OG Bounce Boy polystone figure with the Bounce青花Boy or ‘Blue Flowers’ edition. This edition pays homage to a standard of chinese art -– a tradition of painting blue imagery on white porcelain pieces. Bounce chose this design because of its immediate visual association with his cultural background and a desire to add his modern contribution to the classic art form. It’s an attractive mix of old and new –- classic and urban at once.
Limited to 100 figures, the 12” hand-colored Bounce青花Boy figure comes with a signed wood COA tag as well as a handsome laser etched wooden box. It drops on Thursday (11.6) at 8 AM PST for $500 (includes shipping) from VTSS.
