Luke Chueh has started to reveal ]info on his next solo, ‘Self-ish’ which opens at Corey Helford Gallery Circa in Culver City on October 11th, 2014. As the clever title suggests, the new collection will showcase self-portraits – some of the expected anthropomorphic variety (bears for sure, and possibly other animal characters) and some of Luke in his own skin such as the flier image which is rendered really nicely.
Hit the jump for a look at some early WIP images from Luke’s instagram including a turned-tables version of the piece above and a ‘puking’ piece. Perhaps we’ll see a few Headspace series pieces, the concept behind Luke’s next toy.
