In celebration of Hayao Miyazaki’s 73rd Birthday, Martin Hsu and Klim of Bigshot Toyworks are excited to announce the coming release of the 6” Miya-San figure! Miyazaki is a legendary director and is known for such classics as My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away and Grave of the Fireflies. We are just as excited as Martin and Klim to see this figure being released, as we are also huge fans of Miyazakis work.
This project first started with Martin’s “Retirement Rendezvous Fantasys” of him running into Miyazaki out in public (seen after the jump). That sparked the interest with Klim, who thought it would be a fun project to turn Martin’s fantasy into a reality.
