The talented Seattle-based Invisible Creature design studio has just released their new Stack and Scare! make-yourself-a-creature wood toy sets. To make their vision a reality, they partnered with Uncle Goose – who makes high quality wood blocks right in the USA – Grand Rapids, MI to be exact. There are four different Roar! sets in the Stack and Scare! line, each featuring wildly charming mid-century modern inspired monster parts – eye balls, heads, horns, torsos, legs and more – all hand-crafted from wood. Beyond simply stacking pieces, many of the parts feature holes to allow kids (of all ages!) to connect parts together more securely.
Each of the four sets is available from Invisible Creature, Uncle Goose and select retailers for $48 each. While each set would be awesome on its own, you can multiply the fun by buying additional sets for more monstrously creative combinations – mix and match madness!
