Jermaine Rogers unleashed his new ‘Creeping’ resin, a crawling Dero, at his recent Scion AV show in LA (coverage) and then followed it up with the SDCC Shadow Edition. Sculpted by J*Ryu this good-size piece (10 x 5″) is quite nice and a must for Dero fans. Each edition including the regular orange (100 pcs, $125), Shadow (50 pcs, $150) and the crystal clear Phantom (30 pcs, $200) are impressive showcase pieces. The Shadow and the Phantom have beautiful super glossy finishes far beyond production vinyl. Finally in an unexpected touch, Creeping is rotocast which helps to keep the piece at a nice manageable weight. After a hiatus, Jermaine is back in the art toy arena in a big way. In addition to Creeping, he’s working on the just announced and revealed ‘Choices’ rabbit figure and at least one more as yet unannounced figure that should be amazing.
