Comic-Con weekend brings so much more than just the world’s largest, craziest pop culture convention. Beyond the exhibition hall there are parties, movie studio experiences, and often art shows. For 2013, Amanda Visell will open her ‘Where Eagles Dare’ solo on Friday (7.19) @ mrkt – walking distance from the convention center. Amanda has a created a new collection of original paintings primairly focusing on iconic pop culture characters. She will also offer a new T-shirt and print. Finally, she’ll be showing prototypes of new collaborative sofubi figures from Itokin Park, Michelle Valigura, and herself.
