It looks as though Paul Kaiju went with more of a robotic feel with his latest upcoming figure, rather than his more organic monster type.If you’ve been lucky enough to score any recent figures from Paul, you would recognize Domino Jack from one of the mini illustrative cards you would have received along with your figure.
“He is a total Patchi robot, with many elements of Tokusatsu robots I like, plus my own design.
Manga by Mitsuteru Yokoyama (Giant Robot, Babylon 2) and many others that I absolutely loved as a kid in the 70’s. I went for the OPTIMUM combination as I don’t plan on sculpting or designing many more robots or at all. It’s tough.”
I personally am really digging the design with the very vintage feel. Plus he’s a robot! We can’t wait to see him all done up in vinyl and given that PK paint job! Also, those of you who attended Paul’s show at Grasshut got to get a closer look at this guy. Lucky you!
