It’s been a full year since Toy Art Gallery relocated to its new swanky location on Melrose. To celebrate, they’ve invited 50 or so of their favorite artists to create artwork, customs, and special edition figures for their ‘Anniversary 2012 show’, which opens this Friday (9.15). The exhibition highlights TAG’s mission of showcasing the best of the art toy scene with an emphasis on independent toy creators working across all manner of mediums including western vinyl, sofubi, resin, metal, polymer clay and more.
