Earlier today Amanda Visell launched ‘Wood Idols’ – a new project featuring 10 one-of-a-kind hand-painted wood character sculptures complete with custom boxes.  Five of the idols are drawn from Alice in Wonderland while the other five are based on popular movie, TV and video game characters.  She’s done a really nice job on these – each one is instantly recognizable yet still bears her signature aesthetic.  Our favorite, Voltron, is already gone – in fact, only five are left.  Available now via her web store for $800 each.
