Renown HK artist Kenny Wong will release his Yu Tong, Angry Fish Kid, sculpture in two standing versions on Thursday March 8th. The new piece blends his two signature solo bodies of work – the deep-sea diver inspired Copperhead-18 and the oh-so-cute world of Molly, the girl painter. Compared to last April’s pensive seated version (also seen in a life-size version at 2010’s 3A Beijing Gathering), the piece has a more adventurous feel with Molly poised at the ready with a giant fish slung under her arm. Standing 18.5 cm (~ 7.2 inches) tall, the standing Yu Tong is available in both a bronze (green patina) edition and a copper color edition.
