Known for their eye-popping street art and their gallery work combining cute characters with razor sharp architecture, Aussie street art duo Dabs Myla have just released their ‘Smokey the Bear’ Cushions. Seen in paintings and installation pieces from their last solo @ Thinkspace, Dabs Myla’s humorous and ironic vision of Smokey was inspired by their first road trip in California before relocating to LA.
As you can see in the photo with a smiling Myla, the cushions are over-sized and nicely stuffed, definitely not your average throw-pillow. Limited to 50 pieces, each cushion comes with a numbered, hand-painted mini Smokey portrait on archival paper. Get ‘em before they are gone from the Dabs Myla web shop for $80 each.
