Artist Kevin Titzer’s whimsical yet intricate hand-done pieces sit in that magical space between art toy and fine art sculpture. He recently opened ‘Ghost of A Chance’ at Thinkspace in Culver City, CA with several sweet creations including our favorite, ‘Chapter 1. Obsolescence Road: Traveling With Dodos’ (above). To appreciate the skill and time that goes into his pieces, check out a time lapse video below of countless hours of work on ‘Chapter 6. The Morning of the Test Flight’. Each bee on the piece was carved out of the wood rather than created separately and applied. ‘Ghost of a Chance’ runs through June 11th, so there’s still a few days to catch it in person if you’re near LA.
