Filter017 x 909Toy – Sweet Eggcore (6.17)

When 909Toy released their awesome little marvel, Eggcore, we were blown away by the robot’s design which includes a large number of highly detailed parts. As nice as the OG Eggcore’s were, the new limited Sweet Eggcore (4.3”), a collaboration between Taiwanese design house Filter017 and 909Toy reaches a new level. Rising out of the Eggcore custom show, Sweet Eggcore is almost completely transformed as a retro promo robot hawking various fictitious foods. For those of you that aren’t familiar with Filter017, their many accomplishments include a Mini Yoka and Mini-G for the respective mini-fig series from adFunture.

This special edition features custom printing and painting throughout. To complete the retro promo vibe, Filter017 has designed a custom wood box complete with period logos. Excuse the fan boy in us, but this is exactly the kind of toy that we love – crazy 3D creations that shouldn’t exist, but do due to hard work and belief.
