Taiwanese toy boutique Paradise Toyland and Japan’s intheyellow have co-organized ‘Pray for Japan’ an art benefit show featuring top arts from Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the USA. 100% of the proceeds from the show will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross to assist in disaster relief and recovery. After the jump, enjoy a preview of some of the artwork for the show which opens on Saturday, April 23rd @ Paradise’s Taipei store (awesome place, btw).
The ‘Pray for Japan’ artists include: [Japan]: Devil Robots, Hideo Maeda, Kage, Jun Watanabe, Jona MOGraphixx, T9G, Mai Nagamoto, Wonderful Design Works (wdw), Wrecks, Rockin’ Jelly Bean, [USA]: Amanda Visell, Bwana Spoons, David Horvath, Joe Ledbetter, Tim Biskup, Tokidoki, [HK]: Kenny Wong, Tim Tsui, [Taiwan]: Filter017, Jubi Yang, and Jui Kai.
This is a great opportunity to help Japan and pick up some art as it appears that many of the artists are offering their works at reduced prices to encourage the kind-hearted to open their wallets.
