Toy2R’s New 7” ABS Qees

Toy2R is looking to turn heads with their new line of 7” ABS Qees  which were first shown to the public during Monday’s NYC♥QEE event.  Why ABS?  Moving to hard plastic makes special finishes much easier to manufacture. So far Toy2R has shown clear (above), silver chrome (below), and a really funky prismatic metallic clear (below).  The new ABS Qees also have improved arm articulation compared to the older vinyl Qees.  The more flexible articulation allows interesting poses including the arms raised 90 degrees from the body.

Toy2R seems to be positioning the clear as a DIY product which makes sense – especially in terms of inserting items into the body. Pricing on the clear isn’t clear yet, though as a point of reference,  the 7” clear metallic and the silver chrome both carry $59.99 price tags.   We’re definitely curious to see what other plans are in the works for the new 7” ABS body.  Finally, can’t but help wonder about the prototype of Jason Freeny’s 8” Visible Qee.  His design deems like a natural fit for the new 7” ABS body.

  1. Any idea when these qee, specifically the chrome, are supposed to go on sale and where they might be available?
