Royal/T will be hosting a month long Mr. Toast Pop-Up shop, which begins today all the way through Monday, February 28th. The Pop-Up shop will feature the artwork, plush, pins, and books from the Imaginary World of Mr. Toast. The man behind Mr. Toast, Dan Goodsell, will also be putting together a special art installation at Royal/T.
The opening party will take place on Wednesday, February 2nd from 6-8PM. Dan will be in attendance to sign, sketch, and hang out with all the fans. The Japanese Maid Cafe will also be open and have prepared a special Mr. Toast inspired menu for the event.

“Our inspiration for this new Mr Toast pop-up shop is Royal/T’s original mission, which is to make art accessible for everyone,” says Owner Susan Hancock. “By offering affordable works of art for purchase, we hope that people will leave ready to start their own collections. That’s why we are so excited to partner with Mr Toast and Dan Goodsell again, who also had a piece in our 2009 ‘Three Apples’ Hello Kitty 35th anniversary exhibit.” Mr Toast products available in the pop-up store through Monday, February 28 will feature a variety of original paintings and drawings (prices will vary), in addition to a limited-edition original Royal/T-inspired cupcake character that was created specifically for this partnership.”
