In the latest crossover between toys and street-wise apparel, Tim Tsui has collaborated with Chinese sneaker brand Li-Ning on a special shoe celebrating their 20th Anniversary. Riffing off the companie’s slogan, ‘make the change’, Tim has designed a shiny black sneaker with a convertible design transforming Li-Ning’s low cut 001 style into a high-top of sorts. Tim’s simian-influenced touches can be found throughout, most notably on the tongue which features an embroidered ape face. Additionally, the interior apparently features his graphics as well. Finally, in a nod to China’s growing space program, the shoe features a metallic, futuristic finish. That’s alot of background info. The bottom line is these new Tim Tsui kicks look great.
