Kathie Olivas and Brandt Peters will bring their art worlds together with their collaborative Living Between Worlds tour de force which opens tonight, Friday April 2nd (6-10 PM). We took a sneak peek on Thursday and came away really impressed. If you love art toys and sculptures (and we’re pretty sure you do), this is a treasure trove featuring hand-painted one-of-a-kind renditions of several new art sculptures including Brandt Peter’s Skelve and a familiar bird from Olivas. There are also several large Elizabeths, vinyl toy custom/sculpture hybrids and much more. Plus, several strong collaborative paintings. In short, it’s a great show. If you’re in LA and follow Kathie or Brandt, this is a must see. Hands down. No doubt. Honest.
