Since it was first shown publicly last summer at TTF ‘09, collectors have been eagerly awaiting more news about the Sea Monkey collaborative toy project from Kenny Wong and Ashley Wood. Up until now we’ve only seen the exterior of the Sea Monkey suit. Recently, Kenny Wong has opened the hatch and the results are breathtaking.
These pics revealing the interior full of controls, piping and wiring are even more impressive when you realize they are not final but rather progress shots. Also, the figure shown in some of the shots is a placeholder. The final Sea Monkey will come with a female pilot designed by Ashley Wood. This one is right at the top of our watch list.
