Founded and led by sculptor Dave Kawano , U1 Toy Arts entered the art toy scene with the Boris mini-fig from Nathan Hamill and is set to release several new products in the not so distant future. One of these is Overton Loyd’s Bill Luminutty vinyl shown in unpainted proto form at U1’s DesignerCon booth. Overton is best known for his design and artwork done for George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic. His ‘Bill Luminutty’ character has lived outside the limelight until its recent appropriation and use by street artists. This is Iluminati delivered with an urban funkadelic flair. We’re not sure if there’s a coming new world order, but the figure looks pretty cool.
