Mark of design collective Ilovedust dropped by Kidrobot LA on Thursday for an evening of sketching, signing of a free giveaway print and last but not least some live work on a 20” City Juice Dunny. Drawn by the opportunity to meet Mark, the freebies (in addition to the limited-edition screen print (ed. of 100), stickers were there for the taking), and the lure of a live painting session, quite a few fans packed the Melrose store.
Most of the paint work on the City Juice Dunny custom designed by Ilovedust was understandably done prior to the show (by farkfk). During the event, Mark did a brief live painting session in which he added accents in white to the black areas of the Dunny as the finishing touches on the piece. The black and white piece has a nice clean look and design – refreshing really.
